Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library

riends are enthusiastic supporters of the library's services, programs and materials. For 60 years, the Friends have fostered growth of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library with donations of more than $325,000 since the opening of the new facility. Some of the items that have been funded with this year’s donation include more large print titles, stools for the Main Library Activity Center, a new 4-part History in Literature series, and an interactive traveling exhibit from the Cleveland Children’s Museum called “Healthier Ever After” which will be at the Main Library in May 2009.

As a Friend you support:  The purchase of books, dvds, tapes and equipment beyond the library's budget   Programs such as Music @ Main, and What's Cooking?   A book review series for adults, with daytime and evening sessions   The Friends' used bookstore   Three booksales held annually in January, June and September
