ELLIS (English Language Learning Instruction System)
ELLIS (English Language Learning Instruction System) is the premier multi-media English language learning software program for ESL learners, from beginner to advanced. Students using ELLIS view video clips covering a wide variety of everyday situations, and with this program, users can record their voices and practice pronunciation. After completing each level, tests can be taken to gauge progress.
ELLIS is available at the Main Library in a private setting. Library staff provides training on the program, and then users can reserve ELLIS any time the library is open. For more information, to schedule training or to schedule time to use ELLIS, call the Information Desk at 248-232-2290.
