Apply for a Library Card

Eligibility

• You are a resident of West Bloomfield, or own property in West Bloomfield.
• You are a resident of, or own property in, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake or Sylvan Lake.
• You are a member of a TLN (The Library Network) library with reciprocal borrowing privileges. (Even though Ann Arbor District Library is a member of TLN, Ann Arbor residents currently do not have reciprocal borrowing privileges. Although Troy Public Library is not a member of TLN, residents of Troy have reciprocal borrowing privileges.)
• You work in West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake or Sylvan Lake, but do not live in any of these communities.
• You are a student at Orchard Lake St. Mary's.
• You have a Michigan library card with a Michicard sticker.

Application Process

You can apply right now online by following these four easy steps.

1. Choose which category you fall into for eligibility.
2. Fill out the application form.
3. Read about your privileges and responsibilities and agree to them.
4. Allow 24 hours Monday-Friday (or 72 hours Saturday-Sunday-holiday) to pass and present identification at the Main or Westacres branch.
