eBooks General Information
eBooks are digital versions of books that can be viewed on your computer. eBooks are available to residents of West Bloomfield, or one of our contract communities, with a valid library card. The West Bloomfield Township Public Library offers eBooks from two different sources, which are:
- Metronet Online Lending Library (Overdrive)

24/7 access to over 1800 ebook titles in the Adobe and Mobipocket formats.
A wide variety of genres are available in this collection including:
fiction, mystery, romance, science fiction, teen and childrens, and non-fiction.

Either Adobe Reader 6, 7, or 8 with Adobe Digital Editions or Mobipocket Reader
is required to download and view MOLL eBooks, depending on the format the title is in.

Help with Mobipocket eBooks

eBooks check out for 21 days and automatically check themselves back in. Holds can
be placed on eBooks that are checked out, and you will be notified via email when
they are available.

eBooks can be transferred to some PDA devices.

You only need your West Bloomfield library card number to check titles out.

- Netlibrary

24/7 access to over 15,000 ebook titles. Netlibrary eBooks cover a wide range of
educational topics like computer programming, business, history and medicine.

Titles are viewed, not downloaded to your computer so you do not have to download
any software to read Netlibrary eBooks. Netlibrary eBooks can also be viewed
within the library on library computers.

No due dates. A title is available to you as long as you are actively viewing it.
Once you are finished viewing the title, it goes back into the collection.
