Programs
Some summer programs require registration. Registration opens one week before the program date. Please check program descriptions for registration details. Registered programs are limited to residents of West Bloomfield Township and the Library’s contract communities (Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake and Sylvan Lake). Non-resident students and their siblings enrolled in West Bloomfield School District, students of Keith Elementary School or Pleasant Lake Elementary School in the Walled Lake School District, and students of Lone Pine Elementary School or West Hills Middle School in the Bloomfield Hills School District with a Library card in good standing from their home library, must be registered for Summer Reading prior to signing up for special programming at the Library. Group registrations are not accepted. The Library reserves the right to limit the number of registrants to ensure a quality program. If you require special hearing equipment or a sign language interpreter for any program, please contact the Main Library at least one week prior to the program.

To register for Programs, visit the Library's Event Calendar.

The Library welcomes children of all abilities, along with their parents and other caregivers. Programs and services are offered in an inclusive, nonjudgmental environment designed to engage all children and their families in literacy and learning experiences. The Library strives to be supportive and respectful of varying learning styles and capabilities while offering children of diverse abilities opportunities to grow and be successful.

SMILE! images appear in the Library’s newsletter, local newspapers, brochures, on the Library’s website or in other promotional materials. If you do not wish images to be published, please notify a member of the Library staff before the start of the program.
