Joining the Summer Reading program is fun and easy! Just follow the prompts below to become a member. A West Bloomfield Township Public Library account in good standing is required to register. Summer Reading runs from June 18, 2011 to August 25, 2011. When you're part of Summer Reading you may read books, magazines, comics, graphic novels or anything else you’d like. You can even listen to an audiobook! Complete the required goals for your age group and receive a prize. Kids and teens can earn tickets to redeem for books at the Summer's End Book Fair, and adults can receive a $5 complimentary gift card to the Friendshop at the Main Library.

Your Read to Me child can join in summer reading too! Register for Summer Reading’s Read to Me program and help your baby, toddler, or preschooler develop essential pre-reading skills. Read at least 12 hours and earn a ticket redeemable for one book at the Summer’s End Book Fair. After completing 12 hours of reading, you may continue reading for another 12 hours or complete 5 tasks on the Library Game Board to earn another ticket.
