Joining the Summer Reading Club is fun and easy! Just follow the prompts below to become a member. A West Bloomfield Township Public Library account in good standing is required to register. The SRC runs from June 13 to September 4. When you're part of the club you may read books, magazines, comics, graphic novels or anything else you’d like. You can even listen to an audiobook! Complete the required goals for your age group and receive a prize. Kids and teens can earn tokens to redeem for books at the Summer's End Book Fair, and adults can receive a $5 complimentary gift card to the Friendshop at the Main Library.
Pre-readers can join in summer reading, too! Register for the Summer Reading Club’s "Read to Me" program, and help your baby, toddler or preschooler develop essential pre-reading skills. Read at least 12 hours and earn a game token.
Read at least 12 hours and earn a game token redeemable for one book at the Summer’s End Book Fair. You may continue reading for another 12 hours or complete 5 tasks in the Library Game to earn another token.
Read at least 12 hours and earn a game token. Earn a second game token when you complete at least five quests in the online Library Pursuits game. Submit a book review as one of your quests and qualify for a grand prize.
