The Community Resource Directory contains detailed records of over 5,000 community services offered
by not-for-profit and government agencies serving seven counties in southeastern Michigan. Includes
information on basic needs, consumer services, criminal justice and legal services, education,
environmental quality, health care, income security, individual and family life, mental health care
and counseling and organizational/community services. Provided by the Detroit Public Library.
United Way 2-1-1 is a multi-lingual, comprehensive information and referral service available 24/7/365. Its database contains more than 20,000 programs and services such as after school programs, senior care services, medical and prescription assistance, credit counseling and mortgage foreclosure assistance, and housing and utility resources.
