How to Become a Member
- Fill out an
application/invitation and give to a member to sponsor you.
- Your application is
then given to the Secretary who in turn shares the proposed membership
with the club.
- After 14 days, the
Board of Directors receives the application for consideration.
- Upon the board
determination, the prospective member is notified by either the
Secretary or the sponsoring member.
- The new member's name
is submitted to Optimist International.
- Optimist International
sends a new membership packet including a pin to the Secretary.
- New members are
inducted at a club meeting.
- New members are billed
an initiation fee of $35.00.
- Dues are collected 4
times per year at a rate of $65.00 for each period. ($260.00/year) This
amount will be prorated according to date of induction.
